In the early 1970s this aircraft was owned by Executive Airlines, operating in the Northeastern United States. In 1972 it was sold to Frontier Airlines in Colorado, but returned to New England by 1974, operating with Air New England. In 1983 the aircraft was sold to Grand Canyon Airlines, providing aerial tours of the National Park. The aircraft was re-registered at N76GC at this time. On June 18 1986, while flying one of these tours, she collided with a helicopter, which was also providing a tour service. Both aircraft were destroyed and all on board were killed. This re-paint represents N386EX as it appeared in 1981 while operating with Air New England.
