This repaint for the Aerosoft represents the J-364 from the KLu (Royal Netherlands Air Force), from 312sqn, Volkel AFB, the Netherlands. This particular aircraft was part of 1(NL) Air Task in Afghanistan, when it crashed on August 31, 2006 while it was on a mission, killing the pilot. This repaint is a tribute to the pilot ?Sofac?.
