My sources indicate the RLM71/02 and 65 colors. The aircraft has a white cowl and rudder and the victory markings on the stabalizer instead of the rudder. This aircraft was forced down near Kent on 5 September by Australian Ace Pat Hughes. Von Werra was sent to Canada as a POW but escaped and made it back to Germany to fly again. He was assigned to the Eastern Front and flew as Grupenkommander of I.JG53. On rest in the Netherlands he was test flying a 109F and crashed into the sea and was killed on 25 October 1941. His final victory count was 21, with 13 of those on the Eastern Front.
