This file contains alternative textures for the freeware V 1.2 version of the C-47 by Manfred Jahn, Alexander M. Metzger, Hans-Joerg Naegele. The texures depict the French C-47 registered F-AZTE painted in early Aigle Azur colours to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this airline.
In April 1946, Sylvain Floirat established the original Aigle Azur as one of the first wholly privately-owned, independent airlines in post-war France. Between 1946 and 1955, the airline operated a large fleet of Douglas DC-3/C-47s. During the early 1950s, Aigle Azur began operating long-haul scheduled routes linking metropolitan France with Africa and the Asia-Pacific region (text: Wikipedia).
For this repaint the excellent paintkit by Gordon "********" Madison was used a the base. No specific bump- and spec map are included but due to the included texture configuration file the default maps will be used.
Enjoy,
