  • Special Server Maintenance

Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Avro Anson mk1 Skinpack 4 by UncleTgt

This is a collection of repaints for my revision of Dave Garwood's Avro Anson mk1, originally made for FS2004 & converted & revised by me for CFS 2.

Each texture includes an aircraft.cfg & DP file, as some repaints depict RAAF or SAAF aircraft.

The textures in this set are for the Anson_mk1_mod & trnr44 models, & are:

Anson1mod model

52 N9650 Aircraft of 10 SFTS, based at Ternhill, Shropshire, circa September 1940

5 N5331 Aircraft of 6 Air & Observer Navigation School, based at Staverton, Gloucetershire, circa August 1941

Anson1trnr44 model

T6 EG269 Aircraft from 5 AOS, based at RAF Jurby, Isle of Man. Aircraft & crew lost when it crashed near Tadcaster,Yorkshire on the 17th May 1943

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to

Dave Garwood, Dave Booker & Saverio Maurri for their original FS2004 aircraft

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions
