In Photoshop PSD format layers for easy modding. At this resolution the resulting BMPs are 65 meg file [8,8,8 BMP]...so invert/convert to DDS DXT5 format for better managed size. © Thomas Ruth 2008
This Kit was built from scratch from enlarged original bitmaps and reworked per-pixel to get sections to align, etc. These are derived from my kit for the 225, as much of it is quite similar...eg engines are identical. No-one appeared to have done a great deal with the spec mapping, particularly when it came to shiny chrome surfaces and were painted 'flat' [fake shine].
The main detail advantage of 4096 is the panel seams are 1-pixel wide [with matching bump maps] and not 'fudged' for look as would be the case in lower resolutions. I've included layers for 4 actual aircraft...82002, 82008, 82032 and 82034. Bump maps are completed/included for you.
