This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the Royal Navy Harvard Mk.III EZ316, as it looked while with Station Flight at Gosport, UK in 1953. The aircraft was originally manufactured under a USAAF contract as AT-6D-NT 42-84460, but was one of a number of such examples diverted to the Royal Navy becoming Harvard III's. EZ316 initially served with the Royal Navy at Lee-on-Solent in November 1945, before going to Rattray from February 1946 to August 1947. Gosport was the aircraft's final assignment before being scrapped in 1959, but an original panel from this aircraft, featuring "Mighty Mouse" nose art, (as recreated in this repaint, just as it was) still survives today, and was just recently discovered/identified.
