This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts AT-6D 42-86068, registered as N4086T, which was restored and is owned/operated by Pacific Fighters, the warbird restoration company. The aircraft is painted in the historically accurate markings of a squadron 'hack' used by the 355th Fighter Squadron, 354th Fighter Group (Pioneer Mustang Group), based in England and mainland Europe during WWII. According to original 355th pilots, the aircraft was used for liquor runs, to fly pilots and ground crew on leave (likely into London or Paris), and providing rides for various ground personnel. The repaint was created using the A2A product paint kit.
