Acwai P-38 PNG Skinpack 1 for CFS2 by UncleTgt
This is a collection of repaints for the early P-38 Lightnings made by Acwai for CFS 2. They depict the P-38F, G & H models used over Papua New Guinea.
The textures are:
16 A P-38F-5 of 39FS, 35FG, flying from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea circa February 1943. Pilot was Capt. Robert Faurot, credited with the first P-38 victory in the PNG theatre over Lae aerodrome. Releasing his 500lb bombs as preparation to engage the enemy, his bomb-blast caught a Zero shortly after it lifted off from Lae's runway!
X "Ruff Stuff" A P-38G-15 from 80FS, 8FG, flying from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea circa late July 1943. Pilot was 1Lt. Norb Ruff.
A "Porky II" A P-38H-1 of 80FS, 8FG, flying from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea circa August 1943. Pilot was Maj. Edward Cragg.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
