The B6N2 Model 12 Tenzan INJ Carrier Attack Bomber. Built as the replacement for the B5N Kate, it entered service in large numbers in 1944.
This version has the Mitsubishi MK4T Kasei 25 1850hp Air Cooled engine and One Type 97 7.7mm dorsal machine gun, one Type 97 7.7mm ventral machine gun.
The aircraft is of Lt.Hida, Commanding Officer of K251-Hikotai, 551-Kokutai at Truk Islands in June 1944.
He survived the war after many actions by a hair’s breadth. He joined JMSDF and retired as Vice Admiral, Chief of Air Branch of JMSDF.
The alternate skins are of the 601-Kokutai at Philippines 1944.
Alternative DP is for the Yagi Radar Antenna, as 1 in 3 planes were equipt with this.
