This is a historic paint scheme for the B-26 "Litljo" 131622, code RU-D from the 554 BS, 386th Bomb Group based at Great Dunmow, Essex during June 1944. Litljo ended up crash-landing at Friston after suffering damage over France on June 15, 1944. It was one of 34 ships that had returned from a mission to bomb enemy armor and vehicles in a heavily wooded area in the vicinity of La Roque, France. Litljo suffered flak damage and made it to Friston on one engine (no easy feat with a B-26--too bad we can't feather props in CFS3 like you could on a B-26). Captain Asa Hillis brought the crew home alive.
