This leg of the Berlin Push, 20 Feb 1945, forced several retreating German Armored divisions to become trapped near the rail yards of Koblenz. Here the Rhine River makes a long sweeping bend, catching German Armor in a pocket. The river is deep. And there are only 3 bridges for 2000+ vehicles. Keep the picture of a Cornered Tiger in your mind. This is mostly a drivable tank mission set, played from both sides. Allied Armor under Patton has crossed the Moselle River, pushing from the West and South to The Adolf Hitler Bridge. The 354th will take the airfield. This mission sets objective is to destroy the railyards, its defenders, and any trains that arrive in the battle area.
