This is a CFS3 mod package that was originally posted on the Netwings site. They were intended for stock CFS3 and/or CFS3 with Firepower ONLY. Nothing has been modified in any way and it is still in it's original *.zip file. Here is the README for full acknowledgement:

Big Beautiful Doll
These are replacement textures for the default P51-D Mustang in Combat Flight Simulator 3 by Microsoft. The silver base texture was painted using Paint Shop Pro, and modified using DXTbmp.
The actual textures are found in the texture file named p_51d_t.dds, and there is a subtexture that must also be installed named p_51d_r.dds that will prevent the white fuselage, nose, and tail stripes from bleeding through the repaint.
There are several Big Beautiful Doll aircraft that are flying today, and this repaint is representative of the paint scheme. Due to limitations in the 3D model, some texturing compromises had to be made. The most obvious is the fact that the default spinner texture does not really spin in the game. The half black and half white spinner of this aircraft is painted as a blur to simulate rotation, so even on the ramp with the engine off it will appear to be spinning. Since most of us will use the repaint in flight and not sitting on the ramp, I chose to make it appear to be rotating.
Install:
Please practice safe computing and back up your original P51-D file that is found in your CFS3 folder. Place these two files p_51d_t.dds, and p_51d_r.dds in the p51d aircraft folder and that is it, your done.
Here's the usual warning about not being responsible for damaging your computer, use at your own risk, blah, blah, blah.....
Finally, this is a freeware offering. Use it as you wish, post it where you want to, but do not make one thin American dime from it or I will hunt you down.
