Bristol Blenheim MkIV Z9652 33, No1 Middle East Check and Conversion Unit, Bilbeis, 1943-44.

After the Blenheim had been put out to grass as an operational aircraft, many of them continued to soldier on in less exciting tasks, such as radar calibration aircraft or squadron hacks. This one was used to check out and train pilots on twin-engined aircraft. Bilbeis, some 40 miles North-East of Cairo, is now home to the Egyptian Air Force Academy.
