The Blenhiem was the first modern 2 engine metal skinned bomber of the RAF. It saw service in all theaters in WW2.
The Aircraft depicted is one that Wing Commander Hughie Edwards won the Victoria Cross in a raid on Brenhem, July 4, 1941.
