Boeing B-29 'Tanaka Termite,' 874th BS, Saipan 1945 2024-06-16

This is a repaint of the excellent Virtavia Boeing B-29 Superfortress, depicting 42-24749 'Tanaka Termite' of the 874th Bomb. Sqdn., 498th Bomb. Group, Saipan early 1945. Air Commander was Lt. Kenneth Stetson who flew 30 missions in 749 which eventually went on to complete 60 missions before being returned home war weary in September 1945. She is shown with the decoration on both sides of the nose which was a common practice with 20th AAF B-29's in the Northern Marianas, though no photo record of the right side of the nose could be found. Note this file also contains a modified prop.dds file to correct the 'squared-off' appearance of the prop disc; use it or dump it!
