This is a repaint of the excellent Virtavia Boeing B-29 Superfortress, depicting 42-24626 'Jokers Wild' of the 871st Bomb. Sqdn., 497th Bomb. Group, Saipan late 1944. This aircraft was lost on January 3rd 1945 on a mission to Nagoya; having crossed the target it dropped out of formation and radio contact was lost. It was never seen again.
