Breguet Bizerte
A large pre-war three engined bi-plane flying boat built by the French company Breguet.
After the Armistice between the French and the Germans in 1940 the Luftwaffe took over many of the Bizertes and used them for air-sea rescue, flown by French crews with German radio operators.
Pepe over at SOH first asked me to do this model over a year ago but I declined having recently completed a complicated flying boat. This time of asking I agreed and with his help and prodding got it done. However all errors and inaccuracies and downright fudges are mine.
The prop texture is by Kelticheart ( who else?) thank you.
The .dp is adapted from a Fairy Fulmar one purely to put the crew in place ( that's about all I can manage with dps.)
The panel is stylised and imaginary since I have no idea what the real one was like. The resulting vc panel is even worse but I had to do something to give the view down the 'greenhouse'.
I think Lawdog at SOH does a Gnome-Rhone sound folder so look for that.
STRICTLY FREEWARE AVAILABLE ONLY AT SOH.
Feel free to improve on the skins because I'm hopeless at metal finish and the Luftwaffe one was a quick spray can job.
All the best
