Birtish Mustang Mk III (364) CFS3 Repaint Aircraft (stand alone) (British)

The P-51 was originally designed to a British specification but it didn't really come into its own until a rolls royce test pilot, Ronald Harker, was evaluating other engine designs for rolls royce. he did some calculations on the p-51a airframe and that with the new Merlin 61 and discovered that the aircraft's top speed could be in excess of 441mph, 70mph faster than the p-51a. the chance for an aircraft that would outperform the FW-190 was to good to pass up and the airministry released 5 airframe which had the Merlin 61 fitted. By this time packard had been granted permission to liscence build the Merlin 61 which North American fitted to the Mustang to create the p-51b/c, known to the RAF as the Mustang MkIII.
This is a repaint of Microsoft's original a/c made with WildBat's templates which I thank him for.
