The Martin Model 167 was a US-designed light bomber, first flying in 1939, that saw action in WW2 with France and the United Kingdom where it was called the "Maryland."

1) Vichy French Aeronavale : Martin 167 A3 n° 175. Escadrille 1BR. Dakar-Ouakan. Senegal 1942
2) South African Air Force : Martin Maryland II – 24 Sqn SAAF – Egypt (?) Summer 1941
3) RAF Malta : This specific Martin 167F n°114 originally belonged to Escadrille GR1/22 in Rabat, Morocco. It was used by a crew of Lt Girardou, Sgt Brugère (Pilot) and Sgt Varasseur to escape to Gibraltar on 10 february 1941. It was the transferred to 69 Sqn in Malta, where it was often flown by Adrian Warburton during the summer of 1941.
