The is repaint of A2A's WOP III P-47D representing "Big Squaw", a P-47D-20-RE flown by Lt. John H. "Jack" Payne, Jr. of the 333th FS, 318th FG, Saipan, 1943. I found Jack Payne's Piper Cub and did a repaint of that while searching for this, the first P-47D-20-RE flown by Jack Payne after leaving Hawaii with the Cactus Air Force for Saipan.
