This is one of three Super DC-3s that Capital Airlines had Doglas remanufacture from existing DC-3s. N16019, "ship 540", was a DC-3-178 that was originally built for American airlines in 1936. The original c/n was 1557. When remanufactured as a Super DC-3, Douglas assigned a new c/n of 43191. The airplane was in service with Capital as a Super DC-3 from July 1950 to April 1952.
The base textures, with the exception of the props, are the excellent new "Douglas C-117D Metal Restored.zip" by Gordan Madison.
