Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

CBI Lighhouses for CFS2 by UncleTgt

This is a collection of landmark eye candy objects I made mainly in support of my reworking of the scenery for Burma's part of the CBI.

They are multi-LOD, destroyable LOD models.

This pack includes:

Lighthouses - a collection of the most significant structures dotted around the Burmese coast & islands. These are loose interpretations only.

Alguada_Lghthse_UT - An imposing, tall stone lighthouse tower built on Alguada Reef, south of the mouth of the Bassein River. This lighthouse was strafed by US aircraft during 1943.

Beacon_Lghthse_UT - A round cast iron tower on a small islet NW of Cheduba Island in the Arakan.

Green_Lghthse_UT - A small masonry tower at Amherst Point, at the entrance to the Moulmein River.

Oyster_Lghthse_UT - A tall cast iron lighthouse on Oyster Island, west of Akyab.

Savage_Lghthse_UT - A stone tower on a rocky islet in the approaches to Akyab.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to

XavierB, Maskrider & Wolfi for leading the way with their infrastructure objects
Steve2112 for his generic lighthouse object. Many elements of his model were incorporated into these representations.
Allen for his Making Exploding Objects using FS2002 Tools & Tutorial
Arno Gerretsen for ModelconverterX & FXeditor, such clever & versatile tools
