CFS2Tropical 2024-05-14

This package assumes you know how to add scenery with CFS2's Scenery Library.

This package also assumes you have installed CFS2 as:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 2"

Simply unzip this package to the desktop, and double-click "CFS2_trop.bat".

It will create some folders, and copy some files.

The new folders are:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass

....C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass\Tropical
.........C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass\Tropical\scenery
........ C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass\Tropical\texture

To activate the new tropical scenery, you must first add the scenery to CFS2's Scenery Library.

The folder to add is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass\Tropical

When activated, much of SE Asia will have tropical textures.

Other tropical landclass BGLs can be added to the folder:

.........C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS2_Landclass\Tropical\scenery

They should then take advantage of the tropical set of textures.
