This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-165-CO GJ-U "Pistol Packin' Mama" of the 68th BS, 44th BG, based in Shipdham, UK. It was hit by a German fighter during an attack on Tutow on the 9th of April 1944. The pilot, Lt. Palmer managed to reach Sweden, where he made an emergency landing at Bulltofta. The nose wheel collapsed, but the crew was unhurt. The aircraft was too damaged to be repaired and was scrapped in Sweden.
