Operation: Moonlight Sonata. The 14 November 1940 attack on the Munitions Factories surrounding the defenceless City of Coventry. Cloud cover, surface winds, poor intelligence, mis-directed radar jamming, all combined to create the worst firestorm during the Blitz on all British Cities during the Battle of Britian. Not wanting to tip his hand that we had the sacred Enigma Machine to decode German signals, Churchill did not warn Coventry to set up protective defences in advance of this brutal attack. You will fly with the Third Wave, arriving 3 Hours after Sunset. With more than 90 planes in the air, and about 80 facilities on the ground, this mission set will surely melt-down your Video Card. Can you say Frame Rate Buster? During heavy action with a full load of Flak, my worst frame rates hit an all time low of 15 FPS.
