For Pepe's CFS2 conversion of the JRLUCARINY DC-5. These paint schemes represent a fictional RAAF DC-5 and two DC-5's (VH-CXA & VH-CXC) of USAAF, Pacific Theatre 1942/43.
VH-CXA & VH-CXC were initially delivered to KLM in NEI during 1941. Upon evacuation to Australia they were 'acquired' by the USAAF, given Australian civil registrations and operated by the Allied Directorate of Air Transport (ADAT). VH-CXC subsequently served with 21 Transport Squadron, 347 Troop Carrying Group.
