The Descubierta-class corvettes were a series of corvettes built for the Spanish Navy in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Due to their small size (88 metres) and heavy weaponry (8 harpoons, sea sparrow launcher, two triple torpedo launchers, 76 mm cannon, 2x40 mm gunds, anti submarine mortar...) they were called "the atom ants."
Two of them have been transformed in patrol ships and serve the Spanish navy. Another three are still in service in the Aegyptian navy (two) and one more in the Moroccoan navy, they three with the original design.
This package contains:
- the lead ship of the class (F31 Descubierta), with the original arming.
- the patrol ship P76 Infanta Elena, as is serving nowadays.
- The Aegyptian corvettes El Suez and Abou Quir. (F 946 and F 941)
- The Moroccoan corvette Errhamani F501.
