DR2 1% Bf109G-2 Yellow 3, OFw Wilhelm Schilling, 9./JG 54, Siverskaya, September 1942. Schilling scored his 46th victory, an IL-2, on 16th September 1942 but was badly wounded by anti-aircraft fire. He was subsequently hospitalised, and was awarded the Knight's Cross in his hospital bed on 10th October by his Staffelkapitaen Hans-Ekkehard Bob. Schilling ended the war an Oberleutnant, Staffelkapitaen 10./EKG 1, with a total of 50 kills.

Jagdgeschwader 54 is the archetypal Eastern Front Geschwader, as it served almost exclusively on the Eastern Front from day one, mostly in the Northern areas - Leningrad and the Baltic, although III./JG 54, the unit this aircraft belongs to, did transfer to the West in February 1943.

JG 54 was known for its often unusual camouflage schemes, and this aircraft, from 9./JG 54, was no exception. In fact however a number of units on the Northern Front used this pre-war style of RLM 70/71 splinter camouflage.

Upgrade of the stock Bf109G-6 with separate left and right guns and sound effects, high-resolution skin and new effects. Includes AI Version.
