DL 1% - Bf-109G-6/AS Gustav W.Nr 20 601 Green 13, Oberst Walter "Gulle" Oesau, Kommodore JG 1, Paderborn, May 1944. Oesau was shot down and killed on 11th May 1944 by P-38 lightnings over St Vith. He had received the Knights Cross with Swords and Oak Leaves, and his score stands at 127 kills, of which 44 heavy bombers and 27 Spitfires. Shortly after his death, JG 1 was given the honorary title of "Geschwader Oesau." He is buried in Meldorf, Germany.

The Bf109g-6/AS was a derivative of the standard G-6 produced from early 1944, with a DB605AS engine replacing the normal DB605A. This variant was optimised for high altitude operations, and introduced the smoother, profiled style of cowling similar to the type 100 which would be used on most G-10 and K series aircraft. The tall tail and Erla canopy were standard fittings. It can easily be differentiated from the later G-10 by the position of the oil filler cap on the port side of the forward cowling, marked by a red triangle; on the G-10 and later DB605D-engined variants, this filler cap is about eight inches higher up.

Upgrade of the stock Bf109G-10 with separate left and right guns and sound effects, high-resolution skin, and new effects. Includes AI Version.

Intended for CFS3.1a and ETO, but will run in MAW.
