Although this is not the aircraft he used, it is interesting to know that on 25th February 1945, Lipfert shot down and killed Romanian Adj. Traian Darjan, Grupul 9 Vanatoare, ARR, whose aircraft is represented as ARR Yellow 9 in this series. Lipfert had been Darjan's instructor on the Bf109 some years earlier.
