Dornier DO 215-B5.zip 2024-06-12

The Do 215B-5 was the nightfighter version of the 215 series which were based on the Do 17s. The 215s had DB 601 v12s and not the radials of the 17 series. This plane flew from Leeuwarden in 1942, the plane of Helmut Lent. The 215 has the record of scoring the first AI assisited interception of the war. As with all Dorniers it was well armed and this plane has a twin bellpack of 2 cms guns. Sound is set up for ETO.
