This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4-1009 VH-TAB of Trans Australia Airlines. This aircraft was built in 1946 and went to TAA as VH-TAB.
It was leaszed to British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines between 1948 and 1949 as VH-BPB 'Endeavour', and later to Ansett-ANA. After the period with Ansett, it was named 'David Collins' and painted in the scheme of this repaint. In 1970 it was sold to Air Vietnam, becoming XV-NUL, and its subsequent fate is unclear.
