Operation Ripper was an extensive country-wide sea to sea offensive Line with a Western and Eastern Front. Two months after the CCF drove the UN forces from Seoul, in 1-15 Jan 1951, Ridgway had already begun his counter-offensive. During 6-31 March 1951 Western Front Operations, KimpO airbase was retaken first, then continued pushing the front line another 15 miles north of Seoul. Airpower only played a supporting role. But an important one in this ground offensive. Recommend that you install Pat Pattle's RAF_Fighter_Station from SOH. You will like the effects.
