The first and only All Navy Strike of the Korean Conflict took place on 1 September 1952. The primary carrier was the Fast Attack Carrier CV-37 Princeton. She and her 3- Carrier battle group launched 144 planes against the rapidly developing Synthetic Fuels complex at Aoji-ri. Located in the far North East corner of Korea, bounded by Communist China and the USSR, both of these Communist Empires used this isolated location for heavy industrialization of their fuel supplies. The principle American aircraft launched against this strategic target were the Naval versions of the F9F Panther, the Marine AD4 Skyraider, and a few aging Marine F4U-4B Corsairs. Your survival is problematic. We launch at dawn.
