ETO-Saxon Tragedy (536) CFS3 Missions & Campaigns (British)
Dresden_mistake.zip (3.33 Meg) (downloaded 391 times)
Gentlemen: War is Hell, and this controversial raid on Dresden proves the point. No more of a crime than when Churchill refused to warn the hamlet of Coventry that a huge wave of Junker and Dornier bombers were on their way. Between 13 to 15 Feb 1945, the Saxon City of Dresden was obliterated along with nearly half of her 290,000 citizens. Perhaps accidentally, perhaps intentionally, incendiary-laden bombers of the RAF and the US 8th Air force missed the factories surrounding the city. Striking instead the heart of the town. This mission set was built to showcase the Firestorm effects built by the ETO developers.
