This repaint represents an aircraft flown by VMF-214 'Black Sheep' during the early days of the Korean war. This particular plane saw action during Operation Chromite (Inchon Landings) in September 1950. It also provided crucial close air support for beleaguered Army and Marine Corp units during the Battle for the Pusan Perimeter and again during the fighting to break out of Hamhung and the Chosin Reservoir. This repaint is dedicated to all the brave men who fought in these epic battles more than a half century ago. God Bless You all.
