Corsair II Eastern Fleet 44 skin by UncleTgt
This is a repaint for Dbolts excellent unmirrored CFS2 Corsair.
This aircraft is from 1834 squadron F.A.A. based on H.M.S. Victorious, Indian Ocean AUG/ SEP 44. This particular plane was flown by 1834 sqdns CO Lt Commander Noel Chalton. Known as "Fearless Freddie", he had made his first claims over Norway in 1940, & became an ace flying Hurricanes over the western desert in 1941. Later on this same aircraft was flown (& written off by) by Lt Peter Carmichael, who would later go on to claim a MiG 15 kill whilst flying a Sea Fury during the Korean War.
