Corsair II Eastern Fleet 44 skin by UncleTgt
This is a repaint for Dbolts excellent unmirrored CFS2 Corsair.
This aircraft is from 1834 squadron F.A.A. based on H.M.S. Victorious, Indian Ocean OCT 44. This particular plane was flown by canadian Sub Lt Leslie Durno, who later became the Royal Navy's first Corsair ace on 4th JAN 1945. Tragically he was shot down by flak over Palembang soon after, during the final oil strike on 29th JAN 1945 & no trace of the young canadian has ever been found.
