F.A.A. Grumman Martlet II skin by UncleTgt
This is a repaint of B24 Guy's Overhauled F4F4 Wildcat for CFS 2.
This aircraft is from 806 Squadron Fleet Air Arm August 1942, when aircraft from this squadron were based on H.M.S. Indomitable during Operation Pedestal, the vital convoy bringing relief for Malta. Flown by sub Lt. John Cotching, who later became the Royal Navy's most successful Martlet pilot. He was killed in action during operations off Norway 8th May 1944.
Thanks to
The B24 Guy for such a great rework, it's almost a new aircraft. Smashing Time did the original repaint for the OH F4F4, all I did was to rework this back to a plain unmarked skin, then apply some camo & markings.
