This repaint depicts P-40N C3-549, the personal aircraft of Sgt. Hirdes of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force. "H" "Snafu" of yellow patrol was based at Mokmer on Biak Island, New Guinea in 1945. Sgt. Hirdes was shot down by Japanese anti-aircraft fire on 01 September 1945, above Timoeka.

This package includes two versions. A two-colour camouflage pattern version and an overall olive drab version. The olive drab version appears, from available reference material, to be more historically accurate. Choose the one you prefer or enjoy both! :)
