This file contains a repaint for the old FS2000/FS2002 Fokker D.23 model by Richard Alexander van Hien. The repaint was done on request of Peperez for a cfs2 conversion of this model. Due to the limitations of the model, it is hardly possible to make an authentic or more detailed repaint. Nevertheless I hope you like it.
The Fokker D.23 was a revolutionary design of a push-pull twin engined fighter, with nose gear. In an attempts to reduce frontal surface Fokker placed the engines in a tandem configuration. To reduce weight Fokker used the Czech air cooled Walter Sagitta engines, which didn't need a heavy cooling system. The aircraft survived the German invasion in 1940 and was studied by the Germans. In 1943 Dornier produced the Dornier Do 335 Pfeil which had a similar configuration.
