Thanks for downloading a FS Aeroplane Heaven Bf 109E4 standalone repaint!!!!!
With the release of the Battle of Britain Addon by Aeroplane Heaven and Just Fligth, Aeroplane Heaven updated their freeware Bf 109E4. This updated version is rather different than the first version released, and so are the FS Bf 109E repaints. FS Bf 109E repaints????? What's new???
First of all: the names of the AH standalone repaints will be changed from FM to FS. The F is wellknown and comes from Foute Man, the S comes from the one and only Spitfrnd, aka Bill Wilson. Most FM repaints fly with flight dynamics by Bill "Spitfrnd" Wilson and it no more than logical to express this teamwork in the aircrafts name.
There's a new and fixed virtual cockpit, repainted textures according to new RLM R/G/B colour values and off course the flight dynamics by Bill, following Flight Model Workbook V2.83.64 and Damage Model Workbook Version 2.23. The problem with the tailwheel lock has been solved.
This aircraft requires the new CFS3 Guns/WeaponsPak to be downloaded from the AvHistory site and installed into the main CFS3 folder. When you unzip the file into the main CFS3 folder the individual files in the zip will be self directed into the correct folders. The AvHistory site can be found at http://www.avhistory.org/
Some repaints from the first series have been cancelled. I had made several versions of one single plane and posted them as seperate plane. I cancelled all double planes, with the opportunity to download the second version as optional skin. Some plane however have been cancelled permanently.
I numbered the planes in order of project, starting with FM Bf 109E 01 etc etc. The ID numbers I gave to those planes that were cancelled were given to new repaints. So what has changed in the repaint list:
Old number:
FM BF 109E 02 (5./TGr 186 black 1 in RLM 71/02/65) - replaced by 6./JG 26 brown 4
(new RLM 71/02/65 textures will be available as optional skin for FM Bf 109E 01 (same aircraft)
FM Bf 109E 05 (9./JG 26 yellow 9 in RLM 70/80/65) - replaced by 6./JG 26 brown 8
(project cancelled)
FM Bf 109E 07 (9./JG 26 yellow 10 in RLM 70/80/65) - replaced by 1./JG 26 white 1
(project cancelled)
FM Bf 109E 19 (9./JG 26 yellow 1 in RLM 70/71/65 - replaced by 6./JG 26 brown 9
(new RLM 70/71/65 textures will be available as optional skin for FM Bf 109E 18 (same aircraft)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have the first FM BF 109E 20 version installed, please remove this from your gamefolder before installing this version. Installing the plane is easy. Run the install program.
You must have the fm_bf109e_shared files installed!!!!!!!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a repaint of Fw Arthur Beese's Bf 109E1, yellow 11. At august 24th 1940, Beese crashed with this plane in the area of Calais.
Although this aircraft is a Bf 109E1, the guns have been upgraded to Bf 109E3 standards. During the Battle of Britain most Bf 109E1, wich were undergunned with 4x 7.92 mm guns, were converted to carry two 20 mm wingcanons.
This aircraft will spawn in missions set between 1939 and january 1941.
Special thanks to Starka for all support. Special thanks to Bill Wilson and Bob Ruff for all the great work they do for CFS 3, it is an honour working with you. Very special thanks to Aeroplane Heaven, for allowing me to post these standalone repaints.
Suggestions are always appreciated
veel plezier
