FSX (Acceleration) French ship of the line "Soleil Royal."

This big ship with three gun decks was built in Brest harbor and entered service in August 1670. She carried more than hundred cannons and was one of the most powerful and most beautiful vessels of her era. As royal flagship she led in Mai 1692 the French fleet of 45 vessels against the British and Dutch fleets of ninety seven vessels. Even outnumbered, the French won the battle and only three ships became heavily damaged, among the "Soleil Royal". Towed to the beach of Cherbourg for repair, the enemies took the chance to burn the three French ships lying helpless at the coast. The Sim-model is almost complete rigged with hundreds of ropes and has plenty of animated guns. Thirty cameras let you explore the whole ship: The upper decks, the lower gun deck and you can enjoy the sailors views from high above in the masts. The effects allows you to fire broadsides to starboard and port separately.

An ai-version is included in this package.

The model should run in FS2004 and probably also in P3dV3 but it is not tested. FSDS 3.5 model made by Erwin Welker
