Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

FSX_P3Dv4_Virtavia_A-6E_VA-95_1973

FSX_P3Dv4_Virtavia_A-6E_VA-95_1973 1.0

No permission to download
The model by Virtavia is an A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, however, this repaint represents an A-6A (1541444) of VA-95 Green Lizards painted in CAG markings (NL500) as it appeared embarked upon USS Coral Sea (CV-43) in 1973 with Carrier Air Wing 15.

These textures are completely updated for FSX and P3Dv4.x and have been expanded to 2048 x 2048. All panel lines have been redrawn to a finer resolution with all new stencils and markings and all new bump (normal) files.

Note for P3D users: the texture files are NOT updated to PBR because 1.) the textures for this repaint are non-gloss (flat) finish, and 2.) I do not have the author's permission to modify the model file to PBR standard.

EXCELLENT refresh of the old Virtavia A-6! Everything is crisp and clean and it looks fresh out of the restoration hangar for the Navy Heritage Flight!! Would love to see a VA-35 bird get this treatment!!
