This is the Milviz F-86F-30 painted to represent the first of 3 XFJ-2 Furies ordered by the U.S. Navy. This repaint is of XFJ-2B, BuNo 133756, which was the only "B" model designated. The 3 XFJ-2s were essentially F-86E-10s. The major differences were "navalized" cockpit/instruments. The "B" had test armament consisting of the Colt Mk 12 20mm cannon, no arresting gear nor catapult launch capability, and no folding wings. The landing gear was standard F-86E. This aircraft first flew on 27 December 1951.
