This file contains alternative textures for the Payware Classics hangar FW190 A4. This repaint depicts the FW190 A4, flown by Gruppenkommandeur Oblt.Adolf Dickfeld from 1./JG2, Kairoaun, Tunesia end of 1942. Adolf Dickfeld was a German ace who flew in every campaign from the outbreak of the war until the very end. He was credited with 136 victories in 1072 combat missions. He survived the war and died a natural death on 17 May 2009 at the age of 97.
Most FW190s which arrived in Africa were rushed straight into combat and kept their original factory paint, a few of them were repainted in desert colours. The FW190 from the "Gruppenkommandeur" was one of the aircraft which were repainted. This aircraft was wrecked and Oblt Dickfeld badly injured during a take off accident on 8 January 1943.

The excellent paint kit from Alessandro "alx" Biaggi was used as the start for this repaint.

Enjoy!
