Built during the Second World War by the RAF as a relief landing area for nearby RAF Tangmere. After the war the airfield was returned to the Goodwood Estates and the perimeter track of the airfield has been used since the late 1940s for motor racing and called the Goodwood Circuit. The airfield currently has a large flying school and many historic aircraft.
This scenery is the first I've done that actually has a dual purpose. You can not only fly into it for the weekend, but you can also switch over to your favorite sports car and have a go around the track. Enjoy!
