Goodyear FG-1D Corsair "Kathleen" 2024-06-14

This is a repaint set only for the payware Aircraft Factory F4U-1A Corsair. This repaint set depicts Goodyear FG-1D Corsair BuNo 92489, registered N209TW, as it was when it debuted at Oshkosh 2010, following the completion of its award-winning restoration, and through the various slight changes in the years since. 4 different repaint options are included based on different variations of its appearance over the last four years - with and without specific markings, large N-numbers for flying over international waters, and the addition of a "Jolly Wrenches" logo from the Disney movie Planes. Currently owned by the "Texas Flying Legends" museum, the aircraft crisscrosses the country annually, and was even flown to St. Barths in the Caribbean in 2011. Detailed instructions and descriptions are provided for each of the 4 repaint options included. Included with this repaint is an fixed bump map for the tail, which will correct an existing problem that is present in the original product file.
