his folder contains a repaint for the FG-1D Corsair by Milviz, in the colors of F4U-1D NZ5545 of the RNZAF. BuNo 50454 was shipped to New Zealand aboard USS Saltlake Park, was assembled in Hobsonville in June 1944 and received the name 'Corsair' on the nose. It was used for demonstrations and displays around New Zealand. It was later attached to the Fighter Gunners School in Ardmore from November 1944 till July 1945. It was sold in 1948 to J. Larsen of Palmerston North.
